Community Service: Organize and participate in local projects to improve the communities, within the 7 area focus of Rotary International guidance. This includes Peace building, Disease Prevention, Water & Sanitation, Basic Education & Literacy, Mother & Child Health, Economic Development and Environment.
Youth Programs: Rotary Club of Bali Taman regularly sponsored young people to join the youth programs such as : Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), Interact (for high school students), and Rotaract (for young adults). Rotary Club of Bali Taman have successfully sponsored 3 Interact clubs and 3 Rotaract clubs in Bali.
International Projects: Rotary Club of Bali Taman frequently engage in international service projects, mainly being the host of the project and getting funding from international partners. The joint projects can be in the form of club to club project, sponsored projects or Global Grant projects. Our club is one of the club that regularly having Global Grant project yearly such as water & sanitation projects providing clean water, Disease prevention projects for upgrading healthcare facilities, and education projects to underserved communities throughout Bali.
Fundraising: We raise money to support our projects and initiatives through various means like events, donations, and grants.
Networking: Rotary provides a platform for our members which consist of professionals to connect and collaborate, fostering business and personal relationships. On every regular meeting, we set aside time for fellowship and having lunch together to get to know other members.
Polio Eradication: Rotary has been a major contributor to the global effort to eradicate polio, known as the “End Polio Now” campaign. This is one of the signature project of Rotary that we continue to support by doing World Polio Campaign every year.
ROTARY CLUB OF BALI TAMAN COMMUNITY SERVICE
Rotary Club of Bali Taman is a club that is known for its dynamic activities, so that almost every year we always wins the title of The Best Club in District 3420 (East Indonesia). All services in the Rotary Club of Bali Taman always refer to Rotary’s 7 focus areas.
Of the seven focus areas determined by Rotary International, there is one area that the members of the Rotary Club of Bali Taman paid attention to at the beginning of the formation of the club, namely Disease Prevention and Treatment. Since its founding in 1991, the members of the Rotary Club of Bali Taman have really wanted to create an eternal, sustainable project, which is often referred to as a signature project. At that time all Rotary Club of Bali Taman members were women, so they wanted to create a project aimed specifically at women in Bali. With a long struggle, they finally succeeded in forming a project called K3W, Women’s Health Mobile Clinic, in 1997. The project is still operating to this day, serving women in villages by providing reproductive organ health education as well as Pap smears and/or Acetic Acid Visual Screening, free test. Apart from Disease Prevention and Treatment, Rotary Club of Bali Taman also focuses on 3 very frequently carried out services, namely donating books, computers and other equipment to schools (Basic Education & Literacy), making water reservoirs for villages that have difficulty getting clean water. (Water & Sanitation) and regularly planting trees every year (Environment). All of these activities are carried out either with the help of international sponsors or with funds we raise ourselves.

Youth Service
Rotary Club of Bali Taman also focus on engaging and empowering young people in various ways. Not only sponsoring Rotaract & Interact clubs, we also active involved in youth exchange programs and leadership training.
Fellowship & Networking
Fellowship is fundamental aspect in Rotary, representing a strong sense of friendship that unites its members. We are not always working, we also allow ourselves to mingle and do networking.
Fund Raising
A healthy Rotary Club is a club that can maintain doing their services with all the sources they can come up with. Fund raising is not only done for making projects possible but also exemplify our mission of Service Above Self.
End Polio Campaign
As one of the signature project of Rotary International, in our end it means supporting this project by donating and doing yearly campaign to increase awareness of polio within our communities.
Disaster Relief
Rotary Clubs and their districts provide rapid and effective assistance in the aftermath of disasters, especially in Indonesia, a country that often prone of earthquake, flood, landslides and many more.
Vocational Service
Rotary Club of Bali Taman encourage its members to apply their vocations and expertise in ways that benefit community and promote ethical practices. It includes seminars, vocational tours and mentoring young professionals.
District Trainings
Trainings are important to enhance the knowledge and skills of Rotarians in various aspects of Rotary service, leadership and administration. Bali Taman members are always eager to attend district trainings.
Government Liaison
As a non profit organization, it is important for us to maintain communication and relationships with government agencies or officials. By doing this we may gain support, raise awareness and broaden our reach throughout Bali.
