Fellowship & Networking
Fellowship is fundamental aspect in Rotary, representing a strong sense of friendship that unites its members. We are not always working and doing service, we also allow ourselves to mingle, make good friendship and networking.
In Rotary Club of Bali Taman, we develop strong bond between members inside and outside the organization. We support each other businesses, events and celebrations. Through highs and lows, happiness and sadness, we are being there as friend and family.
Disaster Relief
Rotary disaster relief is various humanitarian effort to assist communities affected by natural or man-made disaster. As part of District 3420, Rotary Club of Bali Taman is an active contributors for this cause. The relief efforts include providing immediate aid such as shelter, food, medical supplies and clean water. Indonesia often prone to disaster as located in the ring of fire. Many earthquakes have happens around Bali for the past 10 years and the most devastating recent disaster was when the Agung Volcano erupted in 2019, where many villagers had evacuated to the safe zone away from their houses.
Fund Raising
As an active and healthy club, Rotary Club of Bali Taman conducted fund raising event twice a year, on the side of the regular small fundraising within the club meetings with their infamous “Sunshine box”. The fund raising event of this club always held in a fun relaxing event, enjoyable for everyone who attend.
End Polio Campaign
Polio Day campaign is a regular event held by Bali area in District 3420, in the month of October. As one of the biggest club in Bali, Rotary Club of Bali Taman always contribute to the event preparation and funding. The biggest event was held this year, October 2023 in Living World Mall Denpasar where we gathered 1.000 people to join the campaign.
Vocational Service
Vocational service is one the pillars of Rotary International’s avenue of service, alongside community service, international service and youth service. It focuses on encouraging Rotarians to use their professional skills to serve their communities and promote high ethical standards in workplaces. Rotary Club of Bali Taman doing many workshops for communities to transfer skill and information, by providing mentorship, vocational training and networking opportunities.
District Trainings
Rotary district seminars and training are organized events within Rotary District that bring together club members, leaders and interested individual to exchange ideas, share best practices and receive training on various aspects of Rotary service. The regular training held by Rotary District 3420 are President Elect Training & Seminar (PETS), District Training & Assembly (DISTAS), Grant Management Seminar (GMS), District Team Training Seminar (DTTS ) and Vibrant Club Workshop.
Government Liaison
In order to do a good service for the community, Rotary Club must have a good government liaison to bridge communication between the organization and the governmental entities. This activity facilitates collaboration, communicates Rotary’s initiatives and navigates the intersection of policies in community service. Connecting with the government help Rotary Club navigate regulations, access resources and foster relationships to advance shared goals.
Rotary Club of Bali Taman almost always communicate with local government regarding community services. By working hand in hand together with the stakeholders, we aim to achieve the goal successfully and make the projects more sustainable.
